Saudi Arabia Postponing a fight for the Al-Alam Heavyweight Boxing Champion title for an emergency reason

The upcoming fight between the world heavyweight boxing champions, British Tyson Fury and Ukrainian Alexander Usyk, which was scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia on February 17, 2024, has been postponed.
This came after Tyson Fury, the World Boxing Council (WBC) belt holder, suffered a wound to his forehead during training on Friday, which required stitching.

Fury, the boxer nicknamed the "Gypsy King," posted his picture on his Instagram account and commented: "I feel very sad after a lot of time has passed in preparing for the fight. I feel sorry for the organizers of the big event, and I look forward to rescheduling the fight soon."

On the other hand, Aegis Klimaz, Usyk’s business manager, the “WBA Super, WBO, IBF, IBO, The Ring” champion, said that Fury would do anything to avoid facing the Ukrainian world champion, and added: “Fury is a coward and asked his opponent in training to shoot hard on his forehead in order to escape from".
