The Italian authorities supported the ban of Frenchman Paul Pogba, the Juventus player, for 4 years due to a positive doping sample.
On Thursday, the Italian newspaper La Repubblica revealed that Pogba had been suspended for 4 years due to his violation of anti-doping rules.
The French player was subjected to this punishment at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office last December, due to his failure in a doping test.
Pogba failed a doping test in August 2023, specifically after a match against Udinese in the first round of the Italian League, and was subjected to the maximum penalty.
It is noteworthy that Paul Pogba returned to Juventus in the summer of 2022, coming from Manchester United on a free transfer.
