Martyrs and wounded in the bombing of Gaza and running out of fuel puts “Kamal Adwan” out of service

A number of citizens were martyred and others were injured in various areas of the Gaza Strip, as a result of the violent Israeli bombing, on Wednesday, while the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Hossam Abu Safiya, announced that the medical facility was out of service due to running out of fuel.

A number of Palestinians were martyred on Wednesday, and others were injured, as a result of Israeli bombing on the southern and central Gaza Strip, in continuation of the ongoing Israeli aggression for the 145th consecutive day.

Earlier, on Wednesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced, in a statement, “The toll of the Israeli aggression has risen to 29,954 martyrs and 70,325 injured since the seventh of last October.”

The official Palestinian News Agency, Wafa, reported that “at least 6 citizens were martyred, and others were injured, as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip.”

She explained that "a number of citizens were martyred, and others were injured, as a result of a bombing that targeted a residential square in the new camp in Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip."

She pointed out that "the occupation aircraft fired at least two missiles towards a residential square in the camp, resulting in martyrs and wounded."

The agency added: "The occupation artillery fired shells at one of the buildings of the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, causing it to catch fire."

She confirmed that "medical teams and civil defense were able to recover the body of a female martyr, two days after an Israeli bombing targeted her family's home, while the number of martyrs recovered today reached 14."

The Ministry of Health in Gaza indicated that "the Israeli occupation forces committed 8 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, killing 76 martyrs and 110 injured during the past 24 hours."

The Ministry explained, "There are still a number of victims under the rubble and on the roads, and the occupation prevents ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them."

Kamal Adwan is out of service

In this context, the Hamas movement said on Wednesday that the death of 4 children due to dehydration and malnutrition at Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip is an “international failure to protect humanity.”

This came in a statement by the movement, hours after the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Hossam Abu Safiya, announced that the medical facility would be out of service later today due to running out of fuel, against the backdrop of the ongoing Israeli war against the Gaza Strip, under which Tel Aviv is being tried on charges of committing “genocide.” "Collectively."

Earlier Wednesday, Abu Safiya confirmed in a press conference that “four children died during the past few days in the hospital due to malnutrition and dehydration,” explaining that stopping the hospital “will deprive thousands of their right to obtain medical service.”

Hamas confirmed in its statement that the announcement by the administration of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip that it would be out of service due to running out of fuel “exacerbates the health and humanitarian situation of our people in the northern Gaza Strip.”

She explained, "The martyrdom of many patients due to lack of medical care and medicine, in addition to the martyrdom of four children in the hospital due to dehydration and malnutrition, is an international failure to protect humanity from the criminality of the Zionist entity, which imposes a total siege on the northern Gaza Strip."

She called on "the international community and the United Nations to assume their responsibilities and legal duties in taking all measures to stop this Nazi entity from the crime of genocide and ethnic cleansing that it is committing against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, especially in the Gaza and North governorates."

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip that has left tens of thousands martyred and injured, most of them children and women, according to Palestinian and UN data, which led to Israel being brought before the International Court of Justice on charges of committing “genocide.”
