Jakarta - Lewis Hamilton admits he is motivated to undergo his final Formula 1 season with Mercedes before joining Ferrari in the 2025 season.
"We are all very motivated for this season and will give everything we have for the journey ahead," Hamilton said on the Formula website 1 on Thursday.
British drivers are optimistic about the development of the W15 car which was launched at Silverstone, England on Wednesday (14/2).
Given the difficulties faced by its predecessors, the W13 and W14 in 2022 and 2023, Mercedes has tried to eliminate inconsistencies in their previous cars.
With With a move to the Scuderia on the horizon, Hamilton hopes the challenges of the last few years can help Mercedes battle their rivals this year.
“The learnings of the last two years have helped us find our direction,” Hamilton said.

The seven-time world champion admits that he prioritizes the comfort of the W15.

This season, Hamilton will again duet with George Russell. They will test the W15 at Silverstone before undergoing F1 2024 pre-season testing in Bahrain.

The Jordanian team ranked second in the tournament after losing to the Qatari team, which jumped 21 places in the rankings to rank 37th.
