Controversy in the media over the 15-year-old fatwa related to the invasion of India, Darul Uloom Deoband on target

Madrasahs and mosques are currently being targeted in the country. Mosques and madrasahs are being targeted in every way at the government level. In this, completely anti-Muslim media is playing an important role in spreading hatred against madrasahs. This is a recent case. Darul Uloom Deoband, a world-renowned great religious school, is on target. Child Commission (NCPCR) has issued an order to the high authorities of Saharanpur district to take strict legal action against Darul Uloom Deoband on the 15-year-old fatwa related to the invasion of India on the website of Darul Uloom Deoband. In compliance with which the district administration and the police are busy investigating and preparations are underway to register a case against the Darul Uloom Deoband administration in the Deoband police station. In many comments, Umm al-Madaris is being declared as anti-national and is being demanded to be banned. The hateful anchors sitting on TV channels are playing an important role in this.

According to Faheem Siddiqui's report from Deoband, Maulana Mufti Abul Qasim Naumani of the institution in this regard stated his position in front of the police, administration and media and said that there is no time in the prediction of the invasion of India in the hadiths. It is not certain, but according to us, the invasion of India has happened in the past. Therefore, those who maliciously attribute the invasion of India to India's future and future invasions are wrong. He said that there is a mention of the invasion of India in the books of hadith, which are presented with wrong interpretations by the scattered minded elements and target the Muslims.

Mufti Abul Qasim Nomani said that no statement or fatwa was posted on the website of Darul Uloom Deoband on the merits of the invasion of India, but in 2009, the text of Hadith Sharif was copied on the question of a Mustafti, thereby instilling wrong education in the minds of children. There is no question of its happening or its negative effects even remotely. He said that despite this, this step taken by NCPCR against Darul Uloom Deoband is reprehensible and regrettable. Mufti Abul Qasim Naumani said that we will soon take legal action against Darul Uloom Deoband for justice.

It should be noted that NCPCR Chairman Priyank Kanngu has said in a letter written to the SSP of Saharanpur that Darul Uloom Deoband's fatwa mentions the terrorist organization 'Ghazohind' which is objectionable.

He further said that "Deoband's fatwa is creating feelings of hatred among children against their own country." This is causing unnecessary mental and physical suffering to the children." He demanded action under Section 13 (1) of the CPCR Act, 2005, saying, "Such content on the website of Dar-ul-Uloom. Publication may incite hatred.'

It is worth noting that in January 2009, a person named Hafiz Faizan Abbasi sent a question about the invasion of India to Darul Uloom Deoband, in response to which the president of Darul Uloom, Mufti Habibur Rahman Khairabadi, instead of giving a detailed answer, referred to the famous book of Sahih Sita. In Sunan-Nasa'i, a hadith of the chapter of Ghazwa-Hind, compiled by Imam-Nasa'i, was copied, in which there is no determination of time and era.

Now regarding this fatwa, the Child Commission and other sectarian elements have started spewing poison against Darul Uloom Deoband. In this regard, District Magistrate of Saharanpur Dr. Dinesh Chandra said that a notice has been received from the NCPCR on the basis of which an FIR is being registered and the matter is being investigated.
