The Indian Navy reported on Friday that it had rescued 21 crew members from a ship in the Arabian Sea that had issued a distress call following a kidnapping attempt.

The Indian Navy said on Friday that it was monitoring a ship flying the Liberian flag in the Arabian Sea and issued a distress call about its hijacking.

It also confirmed that it had sent a destroyer to provide assistance, as it "quickly responded to a maritime incident in the Arabian Sea related to an attempted hijacking on board a cargo tanker flying the Liberian flag."

The "Islamic Resistance in Iraq" announced yesterday evening, Thursday, that it had targeted two American bases in Syria with drones , stressing that it would continue "to destroy the enemy's strongholds."

For its part, the US Army confirmed that it carried out an air strike in Iraq that led to the killing of leader Mushtaq Talib al-Saidi , from the "Al-Nujaba" movement, claiming that he was involved in planning attacks against American forces.

It must be remembered that since the beginning of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, the US bases leading the international coalition in Iraq, as well as the US forces in Syria, have been exposed to regular attacks, and the armed groups operating in Iraq claim responsibility for them.
