The Arab Parliament condemned what was contained in the statement announced by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken regarding the situation of religious freedom in Algeria, stressing that it included incorrect information that had nothing to do with reality.
The Arab Parliament stressed in a statement that “issues related to religious freedom are related to the societal and cultural privacy of each society and cannot be interfered with externally under any justification.”
He also stressed that Algeria is one of "the countries known for moderation and moderation," as well as that "the Algerian constitution and laws recognize religious freedoms and guarantee freedom of belief in a clear and unambiguous manner."
The Arab Parliament praised "the great efforts made by Algeria in this field, under the wise leadership of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune."
The Supreme Islamic Council of Algeria expressed its astonishment at the content of the US State Department report on religious freedom, noting that it overlooked what Israel is doing to Muslims in Palestine, preventing them from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque and depriving them of praying inside it.
