Nasrallah's deputy: The Lebanon front is a reaction and there is no room to talk about stopping the defensive war

Naim Qassem, Deputy Secretary General of Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, confirmed that Lebanon’s front with Israel is a “reaction,” explaining that “there is no room to talk about stopping the defensive war because it is a result of the war on Gaza.”

Naim Qassem added in his speech: “Let the war on Gaza stop, let the war in southern Lebanon stop, and any discussion has no time during the battle and during the war.”

Qassem continued: “Many delegates came to us calling for stability,” stressing that “Hezbollah calls for stability, which will happen in the first place when Israel stops its aggression against Gaza, then this stability will occur.”

The Lebanese Hezbollah announced on Sunday that it had targeted a site, a tank, and soldiers belonging to the Israeli army in southern Lebanon, confirming that direct hits had been achieved.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation "Kan" reported that there are Israeli estimates that if an agreement is not reached to remove "Hezbollah" from the Lebanese borders, this could lead to a "limited war" between the two sides.

Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah said on Friday in a speech that “the Islamic resistance carried out more than 670 operations against Israel within 3 months ,” noting that “48 border sites were targeted more than once.”

Nasrallah stressed that Lebanon will be exposed if the assassination of the deputy head of the Hamas political bureau, Saleh Al-Arouri, in the southern suburbs is kept silent,  and that "a response will inevitably come."

The Israeli-Lebanese border has witnessed an escalation in the exchange of bombardments, especially between the Israeli army and Hezbollah, since the outbreak of war between Israel and Hamas on October 7, which raises fears of an expansion of the conflict.

Israel warned that it would intensify its military action  unless Hezbollah fighters withdraw from the border .
