French General: Europeans are not ready to die for Ukraine

The Commander of the French Air Force, General Bruno Clermont, confirmed on Thursday that Washington did not want a Kiev victory, and that the people of Europe were not ready to die for Ukraine.

He said in an interview with the magazine "Valeurs Actuelles": "The Americans never wanted a Ukrainian victory. The weakness of the Europeans is inversely proportional to the aggressiveness of their statements. Only the Poles actually switched to a war economy, and the rest pretended to do so. No European citizen will die for Ukraine." .

The French general pointed out that since last winter, the aid provided to Kiev by Western countries has decreased significantly, while drawing attention to the great superiority of the Russian army in terms of weapons.

Western media increasingly began to report that the United States and the European Union were tired of the Ukrainian crisis and support for Vladimir Zelensky was weakening.

According to NBC, US and European officials are discussing with Kiev authorities "possible consequences" of peace talks with Russia, including what Ukraine, a former Soviet republic, may have to give up in order to reach an agreement.

Earlier, Dag Pendu, advisor to former US President Ronald Reagan, said that the United States had completely lost hope of a Ukrainian victory , and had begun to push Kiev toward negotiations with Moscow.

John Kirby, coordinator of strategic communications at the US National Security Council, also confirmed that Washington no longer has sufficient funds to continue supporting Ukraine , and that new aid requires congressional approval.

 

Russian defenses intercept a Ukrainian S-200 missile in the airspace of Lipetsk

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced this evening that air defenses were able to intercept a Ukrainian S-200 missile that had been converted to strike ground targets in Lipetsk Province.

The ministry explained in a statement: “This evening, an attempt to launch a terrorist attack using an S-200 anti-aircraft missile that was converted to strike ground targets was thwarted.”

The Ministry of Defense confirmed that “the Ukrainian missile was intercepted by air defense systems operating over the territory of Russia in the Lipetsk District.”

On Thursday, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that it had responded to a missile attack carried out by Kiev forces in the airspace of the Russian Crimean Peninsula, explaining that it had shot down 10 missiles. While the Ukrainian army suffered more than 650 deaths and injuries , and 37 marches were dropped on various axes during the last 24 hours.
