In mid-September, activists from the "Last Generation" environmental movement sprayed the columns of the famous Brandenburg Gate in Berlin with orange and yellow paint, in protest against the use of fossil energy sources.
The activists sprayed paint using fire extinguishers on all six pillars of the gate.
For its part, the German police arrested all the protesters at the site and opened an investigation into the damage to property. The area surrounding the gate was cordoned off.
Surprizing.
