Earlier, Valery Zalughny, commander of the Ukrainian forces, announced that the Ukrainian counterattack had failed, that his forces were unable to achieve any real breakthrough on the front, and that all calculations were wrong.
He said: " We have reached a dead end in the level of technology. Most likely, there will not be a deep and beautiful breakthrough by our forces."
