Huge wealth estimated at 21 billion pounds sterling, A retired player is 40 times greater than Ronaldo!

The British newspaper "Daily Mail" highlighted the success of Frenchman Mathieu Flamini outside the football field, after he, along with one of his partners, established a company called "GF Biochemicals", which deals with biochemistry.
According to press reports, Frenchman Mathieu Flamini, a former Arsenal and Milan player, has achieved great success outside the world of football, surpassing the wealth of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo by a huge margin.

Mathieu Flamini played for the Arsenal football team in 246 matches in two different eras between 2004 and 2016.

The British newspaper "Daily Mail" highlighted Matteo Flamini's success beyond the football field, after he, along with one of his partners, established a company in the field of biochemistry called "GF Biochemicals."

Matteo Flamini and a friend founded the company in 2008, investing millions in research, experiments, infrastructure and employee fees, with the hope of producing levulinic acid, an alternative to synthetic oil made from wood and corn waste.

In 2015, the company became the first on the planet capable of producing acid that can be used to replace oil in the manufacture of medicines, plastics, cosmetics, and others in large quantities.

According to the newspaper, about 15 years after its founding, the company succeeded in becoming worth 21 billion pounds sterling, about 40 times more than Cristiano Ronaldo’s staggering net worth of 500 million.

The retired French player, who now holds the position of CEO of the company, said in a recent interview: “When I was a child, I had two passions: football and sustainability.”

“I grew up in Marseille near the sea, and was aware of environmental issues related to ocean plastic and chemical pollution from a very early age,” he added.

In an interview with the Sunday Times, the Frenchman said: “Sometimes I had to go to the training field wearing a suit, and when you go to training most of the time, you wear tennis shoes, a tracksuit and a T-shirt.”

“So we were all laughing with the boys, and they were making jokes (Oh, you are the best businessman!), but obviously biochemicals are not always what we talk about in the dressing room,” concluded Mathieu Flamini.
