France "angry" over the Israeli war on Gaza stabs two people in Paris

A man angry at the war on Gaza stabbed one person to death and injured another in Paris on Saturday, before being arrested.
French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said that the suspect who stabbed a man to death and injured two others in central Paris told police that he was "concerned about the situation in Gaza" during his investigation after his arrest.

According to police officials, the attacker is a French citizen, born in 1997, and is “known to be an Islamic extremist who suffers from psychological disorders.” The sources also said that the two people who were attacked by the suspect with a hammer were tourists, and that the victim was German.

The Paris Public Prosecutor's Office explained that an investigation had been opened into "murder and attempted murder."
