According to Dr. Sergey Vialov, an internal medicine and hepatologist, a high percentage of fat in the daily diet increases the risk of cancer.

The specialist points out that alcohol and foods rich in fat are the main cause of the development of pancreatic problems.

He says: "85 percent of cases of pancreatitis occur for two reasons: excessive alcohol consumption and poor bile secretion and functioning of the bile ducts. An additional reason is the high proportion of fatty foods in the diet."

Vialov confirms that if a person feels pain in the pancreas area, there are two attempts to stop the disease: changing his lifestyle and taking the medications prescribed by the doctor, or “undergoing surgery.”

The doctor added that obesity and high levels of fat in the diet negatively affect health, which increases the risk of various types of cancer, including pancreatic cancer.

It should be noted that, according to scientists' analysis of the dynamics of deaths from cancer from disposable causes, it turned out that most deaths from malignant tumors associated with smoking, alcohol, obesity and human papillomavirus in 2020 claimed the lives of 1.3 million people.
