Brazil adopts the world's first law prepared by artificial intelligence

Brazil adopted the world's first law created with the help of a neural network. This is the first law in the world that was drafted entirely using artificial intelligence (ChatGPT).
According to what was reported by the G1 portal, the new law was adopted in the capital of the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul - Porto Alegre.

It is noteworthy that the draft law was drafted by the neural network at the request of City Council member Ramiro Rosario, and the law will allow the municipality to avoid imposing fees on taxpayers to replace water meters if they are stolen.

The document was approved by the Council and signed by Mayor Sebastião Melo.

What is interesting is that all members of the city council, as well as the mayor and city residents, learned about the fact that the bill was prepared by the neural network only after it was adopted.

“The strategy was not to inform anyone that the artificial intelligence had done it,” Rosario said, in an interview with the G1 website. According to him, everyone witnessed the experience, and it is expected that society will witness, thanks to artificial intelligence, in the near future “a revolution in various fields.” Therefore, according to Rosario, “politicians cannot remain isolated from these changes.”
