American boxer Jarrell Miller announced his conversion to Islam while he was in Saudi Arabia, in a press conference on the occasion of the “Decisive Day” fight, which Riyadh will host on Saturday as part of the Riyadh Season activities.
A video clip circulated on the “X” social media platform, in which Miller announced his conversion to Islam during a press conference before the “decisive day.”

English club Manchester City won the FIFA Club World Cup champion title, at the expense of Brazilian team Fluminense, after defeating them with four unanswered goals in their match on Friday.
Argentine Julian Alvarez, Manchester City striker, has his name written in golden letters in the 2023 Club World Cup record, by scoring the fastest goal in the history of the tournament, in the first minute of the start.
The English team doubled the score with a “friendly fire” goal scored by Brazilian defender Nino, an own goal, in the 27th minute of the first half.
English striker Phil Foden added the third goal for the European champion, in the 72nd minute, before Alvarez returned and scored the second and fourth personal goal for his team in the 88th minute of the match that took place at the King Abdullah Sports City “Radiant Jewel” Stadium in Jeddah.
Manchester City won the Club World Cup for the first time in its history, in its first participation in the tournament, and became the last World Cup champion in its current form.
Led by its Spanish coach, “football philosopher” Pep Guardiola, City won its fifth title in 2023, marking its victory in the English Premier League, the FA Cup, the Champions League, and the European Super Cup.
Pep Guardiola became the first coach in history to win the FIFA Club World Cup champion title four times, and the first coach to win the title with 3 different clubs, after the Spanish coach succeeded in winning the championship twice with Barcelona in 2009 and 2011, and once with Bayern Munich. The German in 2013, and dissolved his partnership with veteran Italian Carlo Ancelotti, the coach of Real Madrid.
In addition to winning the championship title, the Manchester City team received a financial prize estimated at five million dollars, while the Brazilian team Fluminense, the South American Cup Libertadores champion, settled for the silver medal and four million dollars.
As for the bronze medal, it went to the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club, which in turn defeated the Japanese Urawa Red Diamonds team (4-2) earlier this Friday evening as well, at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium, in Jeddah.
