Xi Jinping calls for the implementation of the Palestinian people's right to life

In his message on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, Chinese President Xi Jinping said that the right of the Palestinian people to life and establish their state must be implemented as soon as possible.
The text of the cable, which was distributed by China Central Television on Thursday, said: “Palestinian-Israeli peace negotiations must be resumed as soon as possible, and the rights of the Palestinian people to establish their state, stay and return must be implemented as soon as possible.”

The Chinese leader stressed that the lessons learned from the vicious circle of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict clarify and confirm that sustainable security can only be achieved through commitment to the concept of common security.

Today, Thursday, the Chinese Foreign Ministry published a five-point document outlining China’s position on resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

In it, Beijing calls for an immediate cessation of hostilities and the protection of civilians, and also emphasizes that the way out of this situation is to return to the “two states for two peoples” plan and establish an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Philippines: We will discuss with Iran the release of 17 sailors from a ship seized by the Houthis

The Philippines will send a delegation to Iran to negotiate the release of 17 Filipino sailors who were on board the Israeli cargo ship Galaxy Leader that was seized by the Houthis in the Red Sea.
Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced this on his page on the social media network Climate (COP28) in Dubai tomorrow.

The President of the Philippines added: "We will hold a meeting today to facilitate sending a high-level delegation to Tehran to provide the necessary assistance to our sailors."

On November 19, the Houthis seized the Israeli cargo ship Galaxy Leader in the waters of the Gulf of Aden.

Ansar Allah spokesman Yahya Saree confirmed the seizure of the ship, adding that it was towed to the Yemeni coast and its crew was detained. Israeli authorities condemned the seizure of Galaxy Leader and blamed Iran. The Israeli side denied the information that the ship was Israeli.
