TCL has begun promoting its new phone, which it has provided with specifications that make it a smart and distinctive portable tool.
The phone is distinguished by its screen, which has special features that make it suitable for fans of reading e-books, as it is equipped with special layers to protect the eyes from harmful rays, and features that control the rate of lighting and colors to reduce eye fatigue.
Its LCD screen is 6.6 inches, has a resolution of (1612/720) pixels, a frequency of 90 Hz, and a brightness rate of approximately 267 cd/m.
It received the Android 13 operating system with TCL UI interfaces, a Mediatek Dimensity 6020 processor, a Mali-G57 MC2 graphics processor, 6 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of internal memory that can be expanded via microSDXC chips.
As for its primary camera, it was triple-lens with a resolution of (50+2+2) megapixels, including a wide-angle lens and a macro lens, and its front camera had an 8-megapixel resolution.
TCL supported it with two SIM ports, a USB Type-C 2.0 port, an FM radio signal receiver, a fingerprint scanner, an NFC chip, and a 5000 mAh battery that works with a 15-watt fast charger.
WhatsApp is returning to its application a popular feature that it deleted last year
A year after removing the popular “View Once” feature for photos and videos from WhatsApp Web and desktop, Meta is working on rolling it out again to users.
The feature of sending media in a way that can only be seen once before it disappears, or the “self-destruct” feature, was introduced in 2021 by WhatsApp.
This move was welcomed by many as enhancing privacy, preventing the forwarding of photos and videos to other users.
However, a number of children's charities have raised concerns about this function, warning that it may allow abusers to engage in and commit child abuse.
Aside from these concerns, users loved the feature, making it one of the app's most popular features, so they were very upset last year when it was blocked on desktop.
WhatsApp removed the feature because it was unable to prevent users from taking screenshots of photos and videos.
But a year later, they brought the feature back, although it has not been confirmed whether the issue has been fixed or not.
Not all WhatsApp users on the web or desktop have this feature yet, but it is supposed to be rolled out to everyone in the coming weeks.
In the past few weeks, WhatsApp has made the feature of sending “self-destructing” messages available for Windows, macOS, iPad, and the web.
“In our opinion, restoring the ability to send messages with the one-time view feature of desktop applications is very useful for users,” WABetaInfo said.
This process finally allows users to send photos and videos that can be viewed only once, which prevents them from being stored in the device’s memory and provides a better level of privacy.
This move comes weeks after the site revealed that WhatsApp is also testing the “listen once” feature for voice notes.
The Listen Once function works both ways, as the sender cannot listen to the recording again after sending, which is bad news if you can't remember what you sent later.
Previous reports indicated that the display feature will also be introduced once in text messages, but there does not appear to be any other news about when the feature will arrive or whether it will actually arrive.
