Pentagon: Contact group promised Kiev more than $80 billion in military aid

US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said that the total amount of military assistance that the Contact Group promised to provide to the Ukrainian side has already exceeded $80 billion.

Austin pointed out that "the international contact group for coordinating support for Ukraine, which includes about 50 countries, has committed to providing military aid to Ukraine worth more than $80 billion."

Austin stressed that he expects these countries to provide Ukraine with " additional air defense systems " as winter approaches.

“While we steadfastly support our partner, we must think creatively about how we can continue to meet Ukraine’s needs,” he added.

During his visit to Kiev, the US Secretary of Defense announced a new military aid package for Ukraine worth $100 million.

Russia's representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzia, confirmed earlier that Ukraine lost its dignity and independence because of the "Maidan" and has not regained them yet, because it has not overcome the "original sin" of the so-called "Revolution of Dignity."

The Russian Ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, said earlier that the latest package of military aid that Washington provided to Kiev, worth $100 million, has become a measure of calm for the Ukrainian government, which is on the verge of complete collapse. Stressing that "any supply of Western weapons is to prolong the suffering of the bankrupt Kiev regime."

Supporters of Israel discuss “ways to kill” US-Palestinian Representative Rashida Tlaib

New York: On the “X” platform, pro-Israel activists discussed “ways to kill” Rashida Tlaib, a representative of Palestinian origin in the US House of Representatives, during her visit to Arizona, last week.
On Tuesday, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) published audio recordings of pro-Israel activists discussing the possibility of targeting Tlaib during her visit to Arizona.

In a statement issued by him, Edward Ahmed Michel, deputy national director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, said that activists supporting Israel discussed among themselves on the “X” platform ways to sexually harass Tlaib, harass her, and even kill her during her visit to Arizona.
He added that this scene is “the latest evidence of the escalation of Islamophobia and hatred of Palestine in the United States, and its getting out of control.”

Last week, Tlaib arrived in Arizona to visit her university and participate in an annual fundraising event for the Council on American-Islamic Relations branch in the same state.

As a result of what happened, the University of Arizona canceled Tlaib’s participation in the aforementioned event, while the hotel canceled its contract to host the event, prompting the Council on American-Islamic Relations in Arizona to hold it elsewhere.

This comes after the US House of Representatives approved, on November 8, a draft resolution censuring Representative Tlaib because of her condemnation of the policies of President Joe Biden and Israel regarding Gaza.
