United Nations: The fuel reserve in all hospitals in the Gaza Strip is sufficient for only 24 hours

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs announced that the fuel reserve in all hospitals in the Gaza Strip is sufficient for only 24 hours, putting the lives of thousands of patients at risk.
According to a report published by the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs: “It is expected that fuel supplies in all hospitals in Gaza will be sufficient for only 24 hours,” and the office confirmed that cutting off electrical power to hospitals will put the lives of thousands of patients at risk.

The Gaza Strip is suffering from strict Israeli measures that have tightened the siege on it, after the Israeli Defense Minister ordered the cutting of supplies of water, electricity, food and medicine.

Israeli Energy Minister Yisrael Katz said that the Gaza Strip will remain under siege and deprived of fuel, electricity and water until the Israeli prisoners are released.

Due to these strict measures, many vital facilities in the Gaza Strip, especially hospitals, are facing great difficulties in providing the basic needs for their operation.

The ongoing Israeli aggression, for the tenth day in a row, resulted in the death toll of civilians rising to more than 2,670 dead and more than 9,600 others being injured with various injuries.

According to statistics from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, nearly 1,000 children and 700 women were killed as a result of the Israeli raids, and more than 2,000 children and 1,400 women were injured with various injuries.




A number of Hollywood stars strongly defend the Palestinian cause

Some Hollywood stars have expressed their strong support for the Palestinians, as they use their social media accounts to refute fabricated Israeli narratives and show the suffering of the Gaza Strip.
The most prominent of these stars is John Cusack, who “engages in strong confrontations,” according to the description of his followers on the “X” platform (formerly Twitter), and actress Susan Sarandon is also active on the “X” platform, and Mark Ruffalo is also active on the same platform.

Actor Liam Cunningham also “posts pictures and statuses on his Instagram account and participates in anti-Israel demonstrations.”

The Gaza Strip continues to suffer as a result of the Israeli aggression against it, and its residents are suffering from dozens of deaths and hundreds of injuries due to Israeli aircraft raids.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced in Gaza that  the death toll as a result of the  ongoing Israeli aggression had risen to 2,670 dead and more than 9,600 others were injured with various injuries.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi announced Russian President Vladimir Putin's participation in the "One Belt, One Road" forum in China on October 17.
He added during a press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov: “President Putin, at the invitation of President Xi Jinping, will participate tomorrow in the third forum for international cooperation, One Belt, One Road. We are confident that President Putin’s participation will make a very important contribution to the success of this.” Forum, and strengthening our strategic cooperation.

Wang Yi stressed that Beijing is ready to continue cooperation with Moscow in shaping a multipolar world, as part of the two countries' pursuit of an independent foreign policy.

Wang pointed out that his meetings with his Russian counterpart are very important in discussing and exchanging views on issues of common concern.

For his part, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov expressed his gratitude to Beijing for inviting the Russian President to be the main guest of the third international forum "One Belt, One Road."

He added that “this project is an important part in strengthening cooperation on the basis of equality and mutual benefit throughout the Eurasian continent. In this direction, relations are developing between the “One Belt, One Road” project and the Eurasian Economic Union, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations ( ASEAN) and other structures operating in this geopolitical and geo-economic space.”

He expressed Russia's interest in the success of this important forum.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived on an official visit to Beijing today, in preparation for President Putin's visit to China.
