On Friday afternoon, the South African city of Johannesburg hosted the draw ceremony for the group stage of the new edition of the African Champions League.
The result of the lottery was as follows:

Group A: Sun Downs (South Africa) - Pyramids (Egypt) - Mazembe (Congo) - Nouadhibou (Mauritania).

Group Two: Wydad (Morocco) - Simba (Tanzania) - ASEC Mimosas (Côte d'Ivoire) - Gwaneng Galaxy (Botswana).

The first round of the group stage will be held on November 24 and 25, while the quarter-finals will be played on March 29 and 30 and April 5 and 6, the semi-finals on April 19, 20, 26 and 27, and the final on May 19 and 26, 2024.

Adam Kadyrov, son of the President of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, received the highest title in the region, Hero of the Chechen Republic, as revealed by the Minister of National Policy, Foreign Relations and Information of Chechnya, Akhmed Dudayev.

For his part, State Duma Deputy Adam Delimkhanov wrote on his Telegram channel that Adam Kadyrov has achieved special success in sports after achieving a number of bright and unconditional victories in prestigious mixed martial arts tournaments.

He also pointed out that 19-year-old Adam Kadyrov won first place in the internal competition at the 10th Open Championship of Tactical Shooting among security units.
