North Korea on Tuesday condemned Israel for its escalating conflict with Hamas, stressing that this was "a result of the ongoing Israeli criminal actions" against the Palestinian people.
Rodong Shinmun newspaper, the mouthpiece of North Korea's ruling Workers' Party, said: "A large-scale armed conflict has occurred between the Palestinian Hamas and Israel."
She added: "The international community considers the conflict a result of the ongoing Israeli criminal actions against the Palestinian people," adding that "the basic solution is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state."
It is worth noting that the Hamas movement launched at dawn on Saturday, October 7, 2023, Operation “ Al-Aqsa Flood ,” during which Israel was targeted with several thousand missiles from the Gaza Strip, and Palestinian fighters also carried out qualitative operations deep inside Israel.
In response, the Israeli army launched Operation Iron Swords, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on the Palestinians to leave Gaza, threatening to destroy the Hamas movement and turn Gaza into ruin.
