Gaza is subjected to genocide: 1,055 martyrs and intense bombing targeting entire neighborhoods

For the fifth day in a row, the Israeli occupation forces continue to commit massacres in the Gaza Strip.

Several neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip were subjected to major destruction after being bombed randomly, which led to the death of dozens of citizens, the majority of whom were children and women who were safe in their homes.

The occupation forces used phosphorus bombs and high-explosive bombs to target neighborhoods, which led to massive destruction of citizens’ homes and infrastructure.

Warplanes bombed the Karama neighborhood, as well as the Al-Qaizan neighborhood in Khan Yunis, the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, the Daraj neighborhood, and other neighborhoods, with hundreds of tons of explosives.

According to the latest statistics, the number of martyrs rose to 1,055 martyrs, and 5,148 were injured of varying degrees.

According to the Ministry of Health, among the martyrs were 260 children and 230 women, while 10% of the casualties were children.

The occupation's crimes led to massacres against 22 families, and these massacres led to the martyrdom of 150 of their relatives, a large number of whom are still under the rubble.

She indicated that 6 medical personnel were martyred and 15 were injured, while 8 journalists were martyred and 20 were injured.

Israeli warplanes bombed several homes and residential buildings in different areas of the Gaza Strip.

While the resistance continued its bombardment of the occupation settlements and cities adjacent to the Gaza Strip with dozens of missiles.

Today, Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces stormed the homes of the martyrs Abd al-Rahman Faraj and Ali “Abasan” al-Abbasi, in the town of Silwan, south of occupied Jerusalem.

According to local sources, the occupation forces raided the homes of the two martyrs, stormed the funeral tent for the martyr Al-Abbasi, forced those inside it to leave, and prevented press crews from covering it.

Hamas denies allegations of execution or torture of Israeli prisoners

The Hamas movement responded to allegations of beheading Israeli children who were prisoners during last Saturday’s attack, stressing that “its Israeli prisoners cannot be executed or tortured,” while the Israeli army clarified that it had not verified these reports.

Leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Talal Nassar, stressed in media statements that the Palestinian resistance “cannot execute or torture Israeli prisoners.”

Reports claimed that members of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas movement, “beheaded many Israeli children” during the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation on October 7.

Regarding questions about finding beheaded children on the Israeli side after the Hamas operation, the Israeli army spokesman’s office stated, “This news has been reviewed, but we do not have any details or confirmation regarding it.”

An Israeli army spokesman confirmed on Wednesday that 1,200 people were killed in the attack launched by Hamas on the Gaza Strip settlements and Israeli cities, and more than 2,700 were wounded.

Conricus said in a live broadcast on the Israeli army’s page on the X platform that this outcome is not final.

When talking about the prisoners, the spokesman merely said: “Hamas is holding dozens of prisoners, including many with dual citizenship from countries including the United States, Britain, Italy, and Argentina.”

At dawn on Saturday, Hamas and other Palestinian factions in Gaza launched Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood,” in response to “the continuing attacks by Israeli forces and settlers against the Palestinian people, their property, and their sanctities, especially Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem.”

On the other hand, the Israeli army launched Operation Iron Swords and continues to launch intensive raids on many areas in the Gaza Strip, which is inhabited by more than two million Palestinians who suffer from deteriorating living conditions as a result of an ongoing Israeli siege since 2006.

The European Union rejects the siege of Gaza and accuses Israel of waging a “genocide” campaign

The European Union announced its rejection of the Israeli occupation army imposing an absolute siege on Gaza, stressing that the majority of EU countries refuse to suspend financial aid to the Palestinian Authority.

European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell confirmed the bloc's opposition to Israel's imposition of an absolute siege on the Gaza Strip after Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, noting that the majority of EU countries refuse to stop aid to the Palestinian Authority.

Borrell explained in statements to reporters on Tuesday from the Omani capital, Muscat, that respecting international law means “refusing to cut off water, food, and electricity,” which was what was ordered by Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant.

He added: "Israel has the right to defend itself, but in accordance with international law and humanitarian law, and some decisions contradict this international law."

He pointed out that the European Union meeting called for the establishment of "humanitarian corridors to facilitate the passage of people who want to flee the bombing of Gaza" across the border into Egypt.

After mixed signals from Brussels regarding the future of its financial support for the Palestinian Authority, Borrell said that the “overwhelming majority” of EU countries opposed its suspension.

He added, "Not all Palestinian people are terrorists," considering that "collective punishment against all Palestinians would be unjust and useless. It would be against our interest and against the interest of peace."

Accusing Israel of waging a "genocide" campaign
In the same context, the Palestinian envoy to the United Nations on Tuesday described the Israeli bombing of Gaza and the pledge to impose a complete siege on the Strip as “amounting to genocide.”

Palestinian envoy Riyad Mansour said in a letter to the UN Security Council: “Attempts to subjugate a people with bombs, eliminate their national existence, and use starvation as a weapon of war amount to genocide.”

He added: "These actions constitute war crimes."

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant sparked international condemnation by announcing, on Monday, a “total blockade” to prevent food and fuel from reaching Gaza, which is inhabited by 2.3 million people. Gallant said that Israel is fighting "brutal people."

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that he was "deeply saddened" by Israel's announcement of a complete siege on Gaza.

He stressed: "The humanitarian situation in Gaza was very bad before these hostilities, and now it will deteriorate severely."
