Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk considered that the outbreak of a civil war in Europe had become "inevitable."
“If current trends continue, a civil war in Europe will become inevitable,” Musk wrote on the X website (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.
This came in a comment in response to a publication by British political researcher Konstantin Kissin, who criticized the policies of European countries in the field of immigration.
“When you see that thousands of people celebrate a terrorist organization committing acts of rape and murder, while the police stand by and watch in major European cities, it is clear that things are bad,” Kissin wrote, referring to recent events in Israel and demonstrations in support of the Palestinians in European cities.
He continued: "This will only get worse. We continue to import people who think this way, every day. We reject a rational immigration policy that welcomes people who have similar cultural values to ours."
He added: "Instead, we open the borders to anyone on a boat, and we demonize any politician who tries to stop this."
Kissin expected that the situation would become more dangerous with the increase in the flow of migrants to Europe, but he did not agree with Elon Musk about the possibility of “civil war.”
British Home Secretary Suella Braverman described illegal immigration as “the greatest danger,” adding that the policy of multiculturalism has failed, as immigrants in Europe live “parallel lives,” she said.
All flights suspended at London Luton Airport due to a major fire
London Luton Airport announced the suspension of all flights until midday on Wednesday due to a major fire that led to the partial collapse of one of its garages.
The administration of the airport, located north of the British capital, about 40 km from its centre, said: “The safety of our passengers and employees remains our main priority, and therefore we have decided to suspend all flights until 12:00 (11:00 GMT) on Wednesday afternoon.”
The fire broke out around nine o'clock on Tuesday evening in a recently built parking lot at the airport that serves low-cost companies.
Scenes broadcast by British media showed a multi-storey building on fire, while witnesses on social media reported explosions.
The local ambulance authority said in a post on the “X” platform (formerly Twitter) that five people - four firefighters and an airport employee - were taken to the hospital, adding that the fire resulted in a sixth injured person, but his injury was minor and he was treated at the site.
