Shanghai : A chatbot from the Chinese “Tencent” is similar in its capabilities to “GBT Chat” The giant Chinese internet and video game company “Tencent” announced on Thursday a chatbot with capabilities similar to those of the American “ChatGPT”, at a time when large Chinese technology companies are racing in the field of artificial intelligence. Last month , the Baidu search engine became the first large group in China to launch a program equivalent to “GPT Chat” capable of providing quick answers to questions or producing content based on user requests. On Thursday, Tencent revealed its “Honyuan Aid” program, which is currently only available to companies or upon request from an entity. “Honyuan” was presented during a conference broadcast over the Internet, during which the program was able to solve a mathematical problem that was asked of it. Tencent Vice President Jiang Jie said that “Honyuan” has capabilities similar to those of “ChatGPT4,” the latest version of the program created by the American company “OpenAI.” Jiang confirmed that “Hunyuan” is better than “ChatGPT” in terms of answering questions on the entrance examination to a Chinese university. Tencent explained in a statement that “Hunyuan Aid” has “a strong ability to write in Chinese, and to draw logical inferences from complex linguistic texts, in addition to the ability to be relied upon to perform a number of tasks.” The company did not announce Thursday a date when the program would be available to the public. Meta : Leaks reveal radical changes in "WhatsApp"! WhatsApp is undergoing interesting major changes, with new design features said to be available on iPhone and Android. The leakers claim that WhatsApp may witness a complete change in the coming months, with a series of design modifications underway, including new colors and buttons, although the WABetaInfo website reveals that these changes may initially differ from one device to another. It is said that the classification of messages into "all", "unread", "personal" and "business" may be available on "iPhone" and "Android". WABetaInfo wrote: “We are very happy to announce that WhatsApp is finally working on improving the interface of the application through a redesign, which includes revamped buttons, which will make the interface more modern. In addition, WhatsApp also intends to add a feature to filter conversations.” . While many of the features are still in the development stages, leakers claim that some are being tested on a beta version of WhatsApp - a testing program that allows users to try out features before they are released more widely. Leaked images also reveal testing the new colors on a larger scale on iOS versions of WhatsApp, with notifications, timestamps and tabs switched from blue to a more brand-friendly shade of green. Meanwhile, a so-called Android "2.23.18.18" tester is said to have experimented with a new listing title with the app's name in green at the top. Other tests also looked into multiple account options as well, meaning multiple profiles will work on a single device in the future. If true, it would bring WhatsApp in line with Twitter, or the current X, allowing users to switch between different accounts in a matter of seconds. The new features are said to be still in the development stages, and not yet ready for beta users. But multiple account options for Android are currently available to some, and will be rolled out more widely in the coming days, as the leakers claim.
