He said that the number of tourists in Rajasthan has increased by 80%.

Pakistan Bar Council :  Announced a nationwide strike on September 9

The Pakistan Bar Council, speaking to the media in Islamabad on Tuesday, has said that lawyers will strike across the country on the demand of the date of elections on September 9.

Officials of the Pakistan Bar Council, the largest organization of lawyers in Pakistan, say that lawyers will go on strike across the country to demand the date of general elections on September 9.

Talking to the media in the premises of the Supreme Court in Islamabad on Tuesday, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Pakistan Bar Council Hasan Raza Pasha said that there will be a nationwide strike in all of Pakistan on September 9. No lawyer will appear in any court.'

Hassan Raza said that a meeting of the Punjab, Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad Bar Council committees was convened on the call of the Pakistan Bar Council to take 'practical measures' against the 'current constitutional crisis and inflation'.

According to Hasan Raza Pasha, a resolution was passed in the meeting that the President of Pakistan should fulfill his constitutional responsibility and announce the date of elections under Article 48(5) which is made within 90 days under Article 224.

'Neither do they need to consult anyone because they are the ones who are able to give the history of the constitution.'

A resolution regarding incentives on electricity, gas and telephone bills was also presented in the meeting.

Hasan Raza Pasha said that the current government should end the facility of free bills from the public treasury to 'judges, generals and government officials' within a week under the administrative order.

Regarding missing persons, Hasan Raza Pasha said that the problem of missing persons is increasing in the country. "Bring the missing persons before the courts and bring them to justice if there is an allegation against them."

Hasan Raza Pasha also said that there should be an urgent hearing on the reference against the judges of the Supreme Court by all the bar councils.

He also demanded from the next Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa that after taking the oath of office, he will start processing these references.

Hasan Raza Pasha said that he demands the government to withdraw the concessions in utility bills tomorrow and give the date of elections as per the constitution.
