Imphal (Manipur) : Mobile internet services have been banned again in Manipur amid protests over the brutal murder of two minors. This ban will remain in effect till Sunday. The state government had recently lifted the ban on internet services that had been in place for five months following violent incidents between two tribes. More than 175 people have died in the conflict between Meitei and Kuki communities in this north-eastern state. While hundreds of people are injured.

There has been an uproar after pictures of dead bodies of two students went viral on social media when mobile internet was restored in the state after almost five months of ban.
Sources have said that the allegations of rape before the murder of the minor are also being investigated. In July, the two were seen in CCTV footage, but could not be traced at that time.
The young boy's parents spoke to NDTV and condemned the inhumane killings. The father said, "What was my son or daughter's fault that they were murdered? They didn't harm anyone. They were just roaming around." "Killing in cold blood is inhumane."
Both the children were going on a bike after the curfew (imposed due to caste violence) was relaxed, it is believed that they were kidnapped. The case sparked outrage and many people raised questions as to why the police were not able to trace the killers.
Meanwhile, the Manipur government has asked people to exercise restraint and allow authorities to investigate the kidnapping and murder of the duo. In a statement issued by Chief Minister N Biren Singh's secretariat late on Monday night, the state government said the case has already been handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

He said, "The world is witnessing an extraordinary period of turmoil. India's One Earth One Family One Future vision includes not just the small benefits of a few but the concerns of many people." Jaishankar has reiterated to the world India's demand for changes in the UNSC.
Speaking at the UN General Assembly, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said, "The days are over when some countries set the agenda and expected others to join them."
He said that from the era of non-alignment, we have now reached the era of world friendship. When we aspire to be a leading power, it is not for self-praise but to take on greater responsibility, to contribute.
Jaishankar said, "Coming out of the era of non-alignment, we have now developed the concept of 'world friend'. The inclusion of the African Union in the G20 should also inspire the United Nations to modernize the Security Council."
He said that the world is going through challenging times. Times are changing, now we have to listen to other countries. Jaishankar said, "The agenda of a few countries cannot be imposed on the world."
He said, "India has entered the 'Amrit Kaal' When our Chandrayaan-3 landed on the Moon, the world saw a glimpse of what was to come. Our message to the world today is digitally enabled governance, growing infrastructure framework and our energetic start-up structure."
Jaishankar said, "Our latest claim is the pioneering legislation to reserve one-third seats for women in legislatures. I speak for a society where the ancient traditions of democracy have deep modern roots. As a result, our thinking, approach And the work is more grounded and authentic."
