Aleppo : The Syrian National Army thwarted an attempt by YPG terrorists to infiltrate Jarabulus

Members of the Syrian National Army foiled an attempt by a terrorist group affiliated with the terrorist organization "PKK/YPG" to infiltrate the Euphrates Shield areas, while 3 members of the army were injured during their clash with terrorists operating in the Tal Rifaat area.

The Syrian National Army was able to prevent an infiltration attempt by a group of members of the terrorist organization "PKK/YPG" into the city of Jarablus, in the Manbij region in the Aleppo countryside.

Sources in the Syrian National Army reported that clashes broke out between the terrorist group and army members after they attempted to infiltrate the “Euphrates Shield” areas.

3 members of the Syrian National Army were injured, and the terrorist group's infiltration plan was foiled.

As a result, Syrian National Army units targeted the terrorist organization's sites in Manbij.

The PKK/YPG organization is working to transform the Tal Rifaat area in northern Syria into a hotbed of terrorism, threatening the safe zone in northern Syria and the security of Turkey.

Since 2016, the organization, with Russian air support, has controlled the city of Tal Rifaat and its countryside, which is about 18 kilometers from the Turkish border, causing the majority of its population to flee to camps near the border.

The failure of Russia and the United States to fulfill their promises to remove the organization from the region led to terrorists continuing to target residential neighborhoods and the positions of the Turkish security forces and opposition fighters.
