"The most important thing is the feeling I have with the bike. I can ride as best as I can, and I can reach the limit of the bike on all tracks and in all situations so I'm really happy for that… We have to keep working like this.”

“I am very happy and want to continue in this way, but now we have to enjoy this moment and then focus on the next race! I'm really happy, I don't have many words to say! Having a podium at home already feels like victory!” he added.

Meanwhile, Kawasaki Racing racer Jonathan Rea finished in fourth place, and this was his best result since Race 1 of the Spanish WSBK. With a collection of 129 points, he stands in fourth place in the standings.

“Competing with Jonathan is always special; for me he is the best rider in WSBK because he is a legend! Having a few rounds with him is cool, but it's no less cool to beat him! He pushed every lap to the end, but I'm happy to beat him," said Bassani. Also
