New Delhi :Odisha Chief Secretary Pradeep Jena told NDTV, three trains are involved in this accident. Of these, two are passenger trains and one is a freight train. So far, reports of more than 300 injured have come from the hospitals. For relief and rescue, 60 ambulances and more than two dozen buses have been sent to the spot. Three NDRF teams, four Odisha Disaster Response Force teams have been sent. More than 20 teams of fire service have been sent. 

He said that around 500 to 600 police officers and members of the rescue team are engaged in the work. 44 doctors have reached the spot and the injured are being admitted in two medical colleges. The injured are also being admitted to the hospitals of the three district headquarters. Apart from this, many other small hospitals, private hospitals of Balasore and Bhadrak are also ready to treat the injured.  

On the question regarding the number of dead in the accident, Jena said that we are hearing from the media only. Since all are busy in rescue operations, I am not getting the numbers (number of dead). But our Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is about to come to the state conference room to review the situation. 

He said that apart from 12841 Shalimar-Chennai Coromandel Express, 12864 Yesvantpur-Howrah Superfast train, a third goods train was also involved in the accident. That is, not two, but three trains have become victims of the accident. 

The bogies of passenger train Coromandel Express derailed on Friday evening near Bahanaga railway station in Odisha's Balasore district. Meanwhile, while passing through the track near him, the express train going from Yesvantpur to Howrah collided with the side of the landed bogies. There is a possibility of death of 30 passengers in this accident. 400 people have been injured in the accident. Many passengers are feared trapped in the train. The injured people have been taken to hospitals. Relief and rescue teams are present at the accident site. Some of the injured passengers have been admitted to Balasore Medical College. Medical College and all the hospitals around Balasore have been put on alert.

Fidah Hussain said: “The barter trade agreement was signed on November 6, 2021, which was completed in 2022. Everything was complete. The court had issued a stay in this regard, the traders did not start this work due to the fear of the court.  

He said that now it seems that all matters are going in the right direction, it is hoped that the work in this regard will start soon, barter trade agreements have been made by many countries, such as between Iran and India.  

On the other hand, economist Dr. Farrukh Saleem believes that the era of barter trade in the world was two thousand years ago, which has ended now when there was no currency in the world, at this time we are going backwards instead of going forward.
