Siem Reap (ANTARA) - The Indonesian MTB cycling team had great success by dominating the men's Cross Country Olympic (XCO) SEA Games XXXII/2023 which took place in Kulen Mountains, Siem Reap, Cambodia, Saturday.
Three Red and White athletes managed to touch the finish line simultaneously. Feri Yudoyono, who was a debutant, became a star by winning a gold medal with a record time of one hour and 13.51 minutes.
Then Zaenal Fanani who is Feri's older brother was behind him packing silver 18 seconds adrift.
Ihza Muhammad completed Indonesia's victory in the k-32 edition of the biggest sporting event in Southeast Asia by finishing in third place, one minute and 15 seconds away from the winner of the competition.
Even so, Ihza had to give up bronze to a racer from Cambodia, Khim Menglong, who finished fourth. This is because, according to the rules of the SEA Games Federation (SEAGF) in a one-country competition, medals cannot be wiped out.
Apart from that, today's race results confirm the toughness of Indonesian bicycle racing in the Southeast Asian region.

According to the information, Kohli wrote that he did not say anything to Naveen-ul-Haq and Gautam Gambhir. After the incident, while Gambhir and Virat were fined 100 per cent of their match fees by the match referee, Naved was fined 50 per cent.
However, Virat does not believe that his behavior came under the ambit of this severe punishment. The amount of his fine can go up to Rs 1.25 crore. However, Kohli will not have to bear the loss as RCB does not have a policy of deducting match fees from players for on-field offences.
Although Kohli may have justified his behavior by writing to the BCCI, but according to the players and officials present around the incident, Virat's behavior was not right towards Naveen and Myers. Jakarta (ANTARA) - Red Bull team driver Max Verstappen believes he has a chance to win the Miami Grand Prix despite starting from P9 when his team mate Sergio Perez took pole position in qualifying, Saturday (6/5).
Verstappen, who leads the standings with two wins out of four races at the start of the season, failed to complete his fastest lap following the crash of Charles Leclerc's Ferrari to end qualifying one minute 36 seconds early.
Starting from the fifth row, Verstappen, who won his Miami GP debut last year, is confident of being able to get good results armed with the RB16 car which has been so dominant so far.
"Podium of course, but I still want to win. This position is not good. (Winning) is not impossible, but it will not be easy," said Verstappen quoted by AFP.
As well as being distracted by Leclerc's crash, Verstappen also failed to complete his fastest lap at the start of the session. He had lost control of his car, even though it was corrected quickly, but it still affected his time record, canceling his lap.

"I went a little off the line at turn six to seven, I felt a little understeer and I couldn't bring the car back to the racing line. So I canceled my lap. It was really my fault because trying to push it over the edge.
"Definitely later you need a bit of luck, hope there are no red flags. But when you think like that, it just happens. So it's a little frustrating," he said.
However, the two-time world champion says he has been in a similar disadvantage.
"Sometimes we have a little problem, but it doesn't mean we carry on until the end of the season."
"Nothing is perfect even though we want perfect results. Last year I had a tough start, but I had to beat myself. Today was not good," he said.

Meanwhile, Perez, who was the fastest driver in Q3 with a record of 1:26.841, won pole for the third time in his career.
Meanwhile, Aston Martin driver Fernando Alonso was 0.361 seconds behind for the second starting position.
Carlos Sainz brought his Ferrari in P3 accompanied by Haas driver Kevin Magnussen in the second row.
"I am enjoying it. I am focused from race to race. I will fight for the team because they have done a great job and we will see what happens tomorrow," said Perez.
Red Bull team boss Christian Horner has emphatically stated that he has given the green light to his two drivers to compete against each other and ensured there will be no 'team orders'.
Pole in Miami is also an opportunity for Perez to emerge as a serious challenger for the Formula 1 world title against Verstappen.
What's more, the Mexican rider has just confirmed his status as king of the road circuit following his victory in the sprint race and Grand Prix in Baku, Azerbaijan for the second time in his career last weekend.
Five of Perez's six wins have been won by the racer on road circuits such as Monaco (2022), Singapore (2022), and Jeddah (2023) and Baku (2021, 2023).
A first podium in the first five races of the season would lift Perez to first place in the standings over Verstappen and pose a serious threat to the two-time world champion from the Netherlands.
Verstappen has never finished lower than second this season and arrives in Florida with a six-point lead over his teammate.
