AMD announced a new processor dedicated to high-performance computers, noting that it challenges the best computer processors from Apple and Intel with its capabilities.
According to the available information, AMD "compared the new Ryzen 7840U processor with Apple and Intel processors and measured application performance, taking into account several things such as web browsing, responsiveness, and 3D image editing."
And the graphs published by AMD indicated that its new processor is 75% superior in terms of performance with applications compared to the Apple M2 processor that appeared in MacBook computers last year, and it also outperforms the Intel Core i7-1360P processor for laptops in terms of graphics performance.
The Ryzen 7840U processor is supposed to be used with many high-performance laptops that will appear later from several companies such as: Acer, Framework, HP, Lenovo, and Razer.
AMD did not reveal the period in which the new processor will appear in the new computers, but it announced that it is working on testing it in several ways, and will reveal the results of these tests soon.
Google is challenging Apple and Samsung with a new model of Pixel Buds headphones
Some websites mentioned that Google will soon launch a new model of the Pixel Buds A small wireless headphones.
According to the latest leaks, the new headphones will come with a design similar to the design of the existing Pixel Buds A headphones, but they will have a wider variety of colors to match the Pixel 7a phones that will appear this year, and a sky blue color will be added to their color group.
Among the important things that the headphones may get is a new processor that will improve performance and reduce the amount of energy consumption, meaning that the headphones will work for more than 3 and a half hours on a single charge if used for calls and listening to music.
As in previous Pixel Buds models, the headphones will have voice control, touch buttons to control music, a water and dust resistant structure, and features to provide voice translation for several languages.
Google is expected to unveil these headphones before the end of May, and to offer them at a price of approximately $99.
