The Arena active protection system has recently undergone tests using foreign munitions seized during the special military operation.

It should be noted that the active protection system "Arena-M" is able to shoot down guided missiles and bombs that try to hit the tank from above. Its serial industrial production will allow the Russian tank crew members to feel safe.

It is noteworthy that a fast-acting radar that is protected from jamming forms the basis of the system. The radar detects any danger (for example, an anti-tank missile) targeting the armored vehicle and issues an order to destroy it.
