Riyadh, SPA -- Muslims across Saudi Arabia performed Eid Al-Fitr prayer in the early hours of Friday morning.
Worshipers flocked to fully prepared mosques and open-air spaces throughout the Kingdom to perform the prayer.
The Eid prayer at the Grand Holy Mosque in Makkah was led by Advisor at the Saudi Royal Court and Imam at the Grand Mosque Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Hamid in a spiritual atmosphere.
In Madinah, crowds of worshipers performed the blessed Eid Al-Fitr prayer at the Prophet’s Mosque, led by Imam of the mosque Sheikh Dr. Abdalbari Al-Thubaiti. The prayer was attended by Governor of Madinah Region Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and by Deputy Governor of Madinah Region Prince Saud bin Khaled Al-Faisal.
The prayer was performed in all the regions, governorates and centers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Erdogan congratulates the soldiers of a military base on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God protect him, presided over the session held by the Council of Ministers, today, at the Peace Palace in Jeddah.
At the beginning of the session, the Council of Ministers reviewed the entirety of the talks that took place between the Kingdom and a number of countries. First:
Authorizing His Royal Highness the Minister of Energy - or his representative - to discuss with the Turkish side a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the Republic of Turkey in the field of energy.
Second:
Approval of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Energy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the National Energy Administration in the People's Republic of China in the field of clean hydrogen energy.
Third:
Authorizing His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture - or his representative - to discuss with the Chinese side a draft memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in the People's Republic of China in the field of agriculture.
Fourthly:
Approval of a memorandum of understanding in the field of environmental protection between the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment and Technical Supervision in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Fifth:
Approval of a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of tourism between the Ministry of Tourism in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Costa Rica Tourism Institute in Costa Rica.
Sixth:
Approving a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of encouraging direct investment between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of the Kingdom of Thailand.
Seventh:
Approval of a memorandum of understanding between the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the General Tax Authority in the People's Republic of China for cooperation in the field of tax administration.
Eighth:
Authorizing His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Civil Aviation - or his representative - to sign a draft agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the field of air transport services.
Ninth:
Appointing Mr. Abdul Karim bin Ibrahim Al-Nafeh, Eng. Musaed bin Suleiman Al-Ohali, and Mr. Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Suwailem as members of the Board of Directors of the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, who are specialists and experienced in fields related to the work of the Authority.
Tenth:
Approving the final accounts of the Human Resources Development Fund, the General Authority for Statistics, the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, and the King Fahd Bridge Corporation, for previous fiscal years.
eleven:
Approval of promotions to the (fifteenth) and (fourteenth) ranks, as follows:
- Promotion of Saleh bin Nasser bin Ibrahim Al-Khazeem to the position of (Financial Adviser) at the (fifteenth) rank at the Ministry of Finance.
Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Hamad Al-Hatlani is promoted to the position of (Senior Financial Adviser) at the (fifteenth) rank at the Ministry of Finance.
Abdullah bin Zaal bin Muhammad Al-Anzi is promoted to the position of (Senior Business Consultant) at the (fifteenth) rank at the Ministry of Economy and Planning.
Dr. Khalid bin Mutlaq bin Salem Al-Nafai is promoted to the position of (urban planning consultant) at the (fourteenth) rank at the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing.
The Council of Ministers also reviewed a number of general topics on its agenda, including annual reports of the Saudi Tourism Authority, the National Program for Community Development in the Regions, Imam Abdul Rahman Bin Faisal University, and the University Higher Education Fund, and the Council has taken the necessary measures regarding these issues.
