In the same context, Palestinian factions considered that the run-over operation in Jerusalem came as a response to Israel's "crimes" against Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinians.

"The run-over operation in Jerusalem comes in the context of responding to the occupation's crimes and its violation of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the latest of which was the storming of the Bab al-Rahma chapel and the cutting off of electricity," Hamas spokesman Abdel Latif al-Qanou said.

In turn, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine said that the operation "comes within the framework of the continuous response to the crimes of the occupation, the storming of Bab al-Rahma chapel, the repeated storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the harassment of Christians, and the violation of the sanctity of holy places."

On the other hand, the "Mujahideen" movement considered that the operation "is part of the practical and natural response to the enemy's crimes in Al-Aqsa, his criminality in the Bab Al-Rahma prayer hall, and the threats of his fascist and extremist government."

For its part, the Resistance Committees in Palestine said, "The run-over operation is a natural response to the Zionist enemy's crimes in Al-Aqsa Mosque, the storming and desecration of the Gate of Mercy chapel, and the vandalism and cutting off of electricity to it."

In the same context, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine said that the operation is "a natural response to the continuing crimes of the occupation, and an affirmation of the failure of the Israeli security system and the policy of clamping down on Palestinian citizens, cities and villages and besieging them."
