Head of the Nuclear Power Plants Authority in Egypt, Amgad El-Wakil, said that the offshore dock is ready to receive the first long-term equipment for the Dabaa nuclear power plant.
Amjad Al-Wakil confirmed in exclusive statements to "The Seventh Day" that the concrete casting for the first reactor had been completed.
He explained that the arrival of the first long-term equipment during the next two weeks is the most important step for the Egyptian nuclear dream to come to light on the ground, and the transition from the construction stage to the installation of equipment, noting that the Dabaa nuclear power plant is the culmination of Egyptian-Russian cooperation over the past 80 years since the beginning of relations.
