He added, "Turkey's car, Togg, will be put up for sale next week, God willing. Tog will meet our people in the coming days."

On October 29, 2022, Turkey celebrated the production of the first local car, marking the start of commercial manufacturing of its electric car, "Togg".

Ankara owns 100% of the intellectual and industrial rights to the car, through which it seeks to build a global brand and form the nucleus of an integrated Turkish transportation system.

The "Togg" factory will produce 175,000 cars annually upon reaching full capacity, and will provide 4,300 direct jobs, and 20,000 indirect jobs.

Altenhan said that the power of the Amazon armored engine is 360 horsepower, and it is able to travel a distance of 800 km without the need to refuel, reach a speed of 110 km per hour, carry weights of up to 16 tons, and accommodate a crew of 7 passengers.  Amazon also protects its crew members against mines, man-made and ballistic explosives, and is equipped with standard equipment such as fire extinguishing, air conditioning systems, and a central tire inflation system, according to the same official.  The vehicle was equipped with important equipment such as a self-rescue crane, a siren system, a fog cannon (for camouflage) and an intercom system.
