Hackers are trying to make chat GPT their weapon

Cybersecurity experts have warned that hackers want "complete control" of the artificial intelligence app.

Cybersecurity researchers have said that there is a lot of talk about chat GPT on dark web forums as hackers are looking for ways to take advantage of this artificial intelligence chatbot.

The number of new posts about chat GPT on the Dark Web, which is inaccessible from traditional web browsers, increased seven-fold between January and February, while the popularity of threads increased by 145%.

Analysis security firm NordVPN described the exploitation of chat GPT as "the most discussed topic in the dark web".
Topics discussed on forums include how to make artificial intelligence malware, how to hack chat GPT, and how to use it to carry out cyber attacks.

A separate report by cybersecurity company Norton warns that criminals may be attracted to modern chatbots because they have the ability to respond in a way that no human being can differentiate.
A possible form of attack using artificial intelligence software is known as phishing, through which targets are tricked into disclosing personal information that could damage their online accounts.
Hackers are looking for ways that such attacks can be carried out by artificial intelligence, breaking through the limitations imposed by OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT.

The AI research firm claims its technology is "trained to reject inappropriate requests". '

However, there have been some shortcomings before this, due to which users can create basic malware.

"Chatbots like ChatGPT can make our lives easier in many ways, such as performing writing tasks, writing a summary of complex articles, or suggesting a holiday itinerary," says Marijas Brades, a cybersecurity expert at NordVPN. Revolutionary artificial intelligence could be the first missing link for cybercriminals.

"What's worrying is that over the past month on the Dark Web, conversations that started with creating ChatGPT to 'cheat' and do something funny have gone to gaining control of the tool and weaponising it." '

ChatGPT is currently the fastest growing app in the world, reaching 10 million users worldwide within the first two months of its launch.

Its popularity has continued to grow in more than three months after its launch.
According to data from data intelligence platform SimlerWeb, traffic on chatbots increased by 83% in February, reaching nearly 45 million visits per day.
Analysts at UBS wrote in January, "In 20 years of the Internet, internet app users have not seen such a rapid pace. '

In comparison, tiktok took nine months and Instagram more than two and a half years to reach so many users globally after its launch.

Turkish Bayraktar drones fly more than 2,400 hours in earthquake zones Since the first day of the devastating earthquakes in southern Turkey last month, the Turkish Bayraktar marches have rushed to support search and rescue efforts and monitor damage, as several planes, including more than 2,400 hours, flew according to the 11 affected states. Turkish Bayraktar drones support search and rescue efforts and monitor potential damage in the 11 provinces hit by earthquakes in southern Turkey last month. Baykar, the Turkish manufacturer of the drones, said in a tweet on Twitter that, since the first day of the earthquake, Bayraktar drones of the "Akenji" and "TB2" models have flown for more than 2,417 hours. She indicated that 9 of the Bayraktar Akanji marches and 42 of the TB2 models, of which 8 were dedicated to surveying maps, continue their tasks in earthquake areas since the first day, in order to support efforts to establish security and assess damages with high accuracy. The marches provide, moment by moment, via a live broadcast, the Emergency Management Center in the capital, Ankara, with scenes that contributed to shortening the detection of damaged and collapsed buildings in a faster time. Baykar expressed its solidarity with the Turkish people and its support. On February 6, a 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck southern Turkey and northern Syria, followed hours later by another with a magnitude of 7.6 and hundreds of violent aftershocks, which caused great loss of life and property in both countries.
