Chelsea captain Azpilicueta leaves hospital after a head injury  London: Chelsea FC said today, Tuesday, that its captain, Cesar Azpilicueta, has left hospital after 3 days, after suffering a concussion during the defeat by Southampton in the English Premier League last Saturday.  The Spaniard was accidentally kicked in the head by Southampton's Seko Mara during the second half and left Stamford Bridge on a stretcher.  “The club’s medical team is closely monitoring Cesar’s condition and adhering to established concussion treatment protocols to ensure his safety,” the London club said in a statement. Cesar watched today's training before starting work on returning to the stadiums.  Chelsea meets away with neighbors Tottenham Hotspur next Sunday, as Azpilicueta's return to participation depends on the EFA and Premier League protocols regarding concussions.(Reuters)
