Halal concerns three things, namely, suppliers, requests, and supporters. Well, in this case, one of the supporters is BPJPH
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas is confident that Indonesia can certify 10 million halal products and become the number one producer of halal products in the world by 2024.
"This is a challenge for the BPJPH (Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency) to make it happen. The 2024 target is this will be achieved. Thus, the halal industry ecosystem will develop well for economic growth in Indonesia," said Minister of Religion Yaqut in Jakarta, Thursday.
Yaqut said that the achievements that have been achieved by BPJPH must be increased and encouraged by digital transformation. Digital transformation will help achieve the target of 10 million halal-certified products by 2024.
BPJPH also, he said, must be able to innovate and analyze the obstacles that could hinder the achievement of these targets.
"Halal concerns three things, namely, suppliers, demand, and supporters. Well, in this case, one of the supporters is BPJPH," said Yaqut
