The spokesman for the Ministry of Interior and the Qatari Championship Security Force, Jabr Al-Nuaimi, announced that "the security readiness has been completed and strategic plans have been developed, including alternative backup plans and plans to deal with risks and crises" necessary to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

"The security readiness has been completed and strategic plans have been developed that included alternative backup plans and plans to deal with risks and crises," the spokesman for the Ministry of Interior and the championship security force, Jaber Al-Nuaimi, said in a press conference on Thursday.
He continued, "All parties will work to ensure the safety of the fans... We welcome everyone and we all cooperate to make the tournament a success so that it will be the safest version."
For the first time in an Arab country and the Middle East, Qatar will host the tournament between November 20 and December 18, and it is the most prominent and largest tournament at the level of teams.
Al-Nuaimi pointed out that there is great security cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries in securing the World Cup.
And he announced, "People without tickets will be allowed to enter the State of Qatar after the end of the group stage, starting from December 2, without requiring a ticket, in order to enjoy the World Cup atmosphere with the rest of the fans and teams in the country."
He explained that fans must obtain a "Haya" card to enter the country and can submit requests from now through the "Haya" platform via the website or application, according to the requirements listed on the website.
Health procedures
While the spokesman for the health care sector in the tournament, Yousef Al-Maslamani, said that "no examination (virus) or quarantine will be required from those coming to Qatar during the World Cup."
He added, "When leaving, they are not required to test for corona either, while following the conditions of the destination they are traveling to."
He stated that "4 hospitals affiliated with Hamad Medical Corporation have been designated to receive emergency cases (..) Health services are provided free of charge to Haya card holders when needed."
He stated that this is in addition to "allocating the number 16000 to provide health support to fans when needed."
Transport
Regarding transportation during the World Cup, Ali Al-Ali, Deputy Director General of the World Cup Operations, said, "A metro train is provided every 165 seconds to transport fans over a period of 21 days and 3,600 buses are provided to participate in transportation daily during the tournament."
He continued, "We aim to provide a safe and smooth transportation service for all fans, and an official transportation website has been allocated, which is updated daily on the official account of the tournament, and a guide for transportation in Qatar will be distributed, and the transportation service has been added to the Haya Card application."
Fan Zones
For his part, Khaled Mawlawi, Deputy Director General of Marketing, Communication and Tournament Experience, said, "Holding this cosmic event today in the Arab region and the Middle East has its distinction and specialization over all tournaments."
He explained that "Qatar during the World Cup will be a festival that includes more than 90 activities and events, such as the Haya Fan Zone in Lusail, which contains many activities, in addition to the activities of the Lusail Road, which includes various shows."
He added, "The opportunity is for the World Cup fans to enjoy the beaches of Qatar and the great festival that the country has prepared to provide them with the best entertainment experience throughout the tournament."
