Turkish security forces arrested the terrorist "Ahlam al-Bashir", who admitted her connection to the PKK/PYD terrorist organization and responsibility for the terrorist bombing that took place on Istiklal Street in Istanbul's Taksim district on Sunday.
Pictures were published of the process during which the woman who placed the bomb was arrested in the street among civilians.
The Istanbul Police Department teams spotted the suspect through images recorded by security cameras during the search operations that began immediately after the explosion.
A total of 1,200 security cameras were checked, which spotted the suspect who planted the bomb at the scene.
An operation was carried out in 21 addresses that were found to be in contact with the terrorist, while 46 people in connection with the incident were arrested and detained.

The terrorist, who holds a Syrian passport, was caught hiding at one of the specified addresses.
Police teams searched the house accompanied by specially trained dogs, and a gun, bullets, and large quantities of foreign currency and Turkish lira were seized inside the house.
During her interrogation, she said that she had received special training from the terrorist organization PKK / PYD / YPG as an intelligence officer, and that she entered the country illegally through Afrin.

For his part, Turkish Interior Minister Suleiman Soylu said that the perpetrators of the terrorist attack would have fled to Greece today, Monday, had they not been arrested.
Soylu announced that he would not accept the condolences offered by the US embassy, affirming its refusal.
He added, "Perhaps this news will sadden the terrorist organization, as we have also arrested the person who was ordered by the organization to kill the bomber."
He pointed out that "Turkish security is examining the recordings of 1,200 cameras and arresting 46 suspects in raids targeting 21 addresses against the background of the terrorist bombing on Istiklal Street in Istanbul."

At dawn on Monday, Soylu announced the arrest of the person who placed the bomb that caused an explosion on Istiklal Street in Istanbul.
The bombing killed 6 people and wounded 81 others, two of whom are in critical condition, according to Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay.
