Turkey's Roketsan Defense Industries has signed the first agreement to export the "Khan" artillery missile to Indonesia. The company also signed two agreements in coordination with the Presidency of Defense Industries and the Indonesian Ministry of Defense, thanks to the confidence that the Turkish defense industries enjoy.
Turkey's Roketsan Defense Industries is preparing to conduct the first export of the "Khan" artillery rocket to Indonesia.
The company signed a number of agreements on the sidelines of the "Indo Defense Expo & Forum 2022", which is currently being held in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.
Murat Kurtulus, Deputy General Manager of Roketsan Anadolu Agency, told Anadolu Agency on Thursday that the Southeast Asian market is very important for the company and that they have been following the exhibition for many years.
He noted that Roketsan has different products for the land, air and naval forces.
Kurtulus mentioned that they signed two agreements in coordination with the Presidency of Defense Industries and with the Indonesian Defense Ministry thanks to the confidence in the Turkish defense industries.
He added, "During the contracts we signed, we will put our products into service for the first time in the Indonesian Defense Ministry, and in the near future, we will put the Khan medium and short-range missile system into use by the Indonesian army for the first time."
