Until D-9 Lebaran, as many as 312,755 vehicles left Jabotabek

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk recorded as many as 312,755 vehicles leaving the Jabotabek area until the 9th day of Eid al-Fitr 1443 H/2022 which falls on the period of Saturday 23 April 2022.

"The total volume of traffic leaving the Jabotabek area has decreased. 7.8 percent compared to normal traffic for the November 2021 period with a total of 339,205 vehicles," said Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head Dwimawan Heru in a written statement received in Jakarta, Saturday.

Heru added that this figure is the cumulative number of traffic flow (traffic) from the four Barrier/Main Toll Gates (GT), namely GT Cikupa (direction Merak), GT Ciawi (direction Puncak), and GT Cikampek Utama and GT Kalihurip Utama. (direction of Trans Java and Bandung).

"For the distribution of traffic leaving Jabotabek to the three directions, the majority of which were 145,990 vehicles (46.7 percent) heading east (Trans Java and Bandung), 96,527 vehicles (30.9 percent) heading west (Merak), and 70,238 vehicles. (22.5 percent) towards the South (Peak)," he said.  For the distribution of traffic to the east, traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Trans Java via GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, with a total of 76,971 vehicles, an increase of 0.2 percent from normal traffic.  Traffic leaving Jabotabek heading towards Bandung via GT Kalihurip Utama Cipularang Toll Road, with a total of 69,019 vehicles, decreased by 13 percent from normal traffic.  The total traffic leaving Jabotabek to the direction of Trans Java and Bandung via the two GTs was 145,990 vehicles, down by 6.5 percent from normal traffic.  For the distribution of traffic to the west, traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Merak via GT Cikupa Tangerang-Merak Toll Road is 96,527 vehicles, down 6.7 percent from normal traffic.  Meanwhile traffic heading south, the number of vehicles leaving Jabotabek towards Puncak via GT Ciawi Jagorawi Toll Road was 70,238 vehicles, a decrease of 11.8 percent from normal traffic.  Jasa Marga appealed to toll road users to anticipate travel before entering the toll road. Make sure the vehicle and driver are in top condition, comply with health protocols (using masks, washing hands and maintaining distance) while in the rest area, refilling fuel and sufficient electronic money balance, and obeying the signs and directions of officers.


"For the distribution of traffic leaving Jabotabek to the three directions, the majority of which were 145,990 vehicles (46.7 percent) heading east (Trans Java and Bandung), 96,527 vehicles (30.9 percent) heading west (Merak), and 70,238 vehicles. (22.5 percent) towards the South (Peak)," he said.

For the distribution of traffic to the east, traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Trans Java via GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, with a total of 76,971 vehicles, an increase of 0.2 percent from normal traffic.

Traffic leaving Jabotabek heading towards Bandung via GT Kalihurip Utama Cipularang Toll Road, with a total of 69,019 vehicles, decreased by 13 percent from normal traffic.

The total traffic leaving Jabotabek to the direction of Trans Java and Bandung via the two GTs was 145,990 vehicles, down by 6.5 percent from normal traffic.

For the distribution of traffic to the west, traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Merak via GT Cikupa Tangerang-Merak Toll Road is 96,527 vehicles, down 6.7 percent from normal traffic.

Meanwhile traffic heading south, the number of vehicles leaving Jabotabek towards Puncak via GT Ciawi Jagorawi Toll Road was 70,238 vehicles, a decrease of 11.8 percent from normal traffic.

Jasa Marga appealed to toll road users to anticipate travel before entering the toll road.
