Difference between institutional quarantine and home quarantine
The word Quarantine was heard a lot between the first, second wave of the Corona period and now the threat of Omicron. In this also two different categories were heard – Institutional Quarantine and Home Quarantine. You must have come to know that quarantine only means segregation. The patient is kept isolated from others, so that virus infection can be prevented.

This process is adopted so that they can stay away from the common people and prevent the spread of infection. In this, the victim is kept away from the house in a place where all the facilities related to the treatment of corona are available. But the victim cannot socialize with any other person during the quarantine period. It is like a hospital or caretaking centre. Whereas in home quarantine, the corona victim remains at home. But for this as much as possible, he is given a separate corner, room in the house, where he can live separately. The patient does not get hospital-like facilities when he is quarantined at home, but he is advised to be in constant touch with the doctor. Whoever lives in home quarantine should not come out of his room and follow the quarantine rules completely, so that no other member of the house has to face this infectious disease.
New guidelines
*After Omicron, under the new guideline, all passengers will have to log on to the Air Suvidha portal and give complete information about their travel and location for the last 14 days.
*The RTPCR report will have to be uploaded at least 72 hours before the time of travel. Travel will be possible only in the event of this report being negative.
*Those who are coming from high risk countries under Omicron will be tested at the airport itself. They will have to wait at the airport till the test report comes. Even if the report comes negative, they will have to stay in home isolation. Their samples will also be sent for genome sequencing to be examined by Omicron.
*Passengers will also have to undergo thermal screening. There will be a chance to travel only if there are no symptoms of the epidemic.
*On showing symptoms of corona in the flight, the passenger will be isolated in the flight itself.
*If someone shows symptoms of corona during home quarantine, then he will have to give information to the health center located near him or the national.
