In a video message sent to MAS-ICNA, one of the largest and most diverse Islamic conferences in North America, President Erdoğan emphasized that Muslims can only achieve peace through unity and solidarity among themselves.
President Erdoğan sent a video message to the 20th MAS-ICNA Conference, which brings together tens of thousands of Muslims from all over the world every year.
In his speech, President Erdoğan recommended helping people who have lost their jobs due to the pandemic, and drew attention to the need to increase efforts for the well-being of society.
"We must strengthen our solidarity against Islamophobia, xenophobia and cultural racism that has escalated with the pandemic," Erdogan said.
He added that "Muslims can only reach peace by uniting themselves."
Erdogan stressed that "we cannot allow our brothers to be harmed because of our ethnic and cultural differences. Muslims are brothers regardless of their colour, tribe, culture, sect or ethnic background."
Erdogan stressed that there is no room for division, nationalism, sedition and terrorism in Islam.
In light of the increasing threats against them, Erdogan called on Muslims to take their rightful place in society as confident intellectuals "instead of withdrawing into their own shell."
For his part, Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin said that his country believes in strong and healthy relations with the Muslim community in the United States of America and attaches importance to them.
This came during his participation, on Monday, in a dinner banquet at the annual conference of the American Islamic Society - and the Islamic Circle in North America (MAS-ICNA) for the year 2021, in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
Kalin added that people need enlightenment, spirituality and renewal against what is happening in the Islamic world and the world at large, noting that the "MAS-ICNA" conference gives this feeling.
He stated that faith is more about determination than spirituality and goodness, pointing out that there are challenges and issues that need to be addressed through action and determination.
The annual conference of the American Islamic Society and the Islamic Circle in North America (MAS-ICNA) continues its 20th session in the American city of Chicago for 3 days.
With the largest factory in Europe Turkey enters the field of manufacturing the new generation of power batteries
In conjunction with the start of serial production of its new electric car, Turkey announced its plans to establish the largest facility in Europe for the production of new lithium-ion batteries in Kayseri, central Anatolia, scheduled to open in 2022.
Turkey is making serious strides in its endeavors to own the technology of developing and producing new lithium-ion batteries, and to this end, Turkey's ASPİLSAN is establishing a large-scale production facility for lithium-ion batteries in Kayseri. The plant, scheduled to open in 2022, will be the largest and largest lithium-ion battery production facility not only in Turkey, but in Europe as a whole.
Lithium-ion batteries are used in almost all areas of life, from electrical devices to drones in the defense industry, as well as electric cars.
This strategic step would enhance Turkey's efforts to fully enhance the market for clean and sustainable energy in return for reducing its dependence on fossil energy sources imported from abroad, whose exorbitant bills constitute a great weight on the shoulder of the Turkish treasury, especially as it is estimated at more than 40 billion annually, as well as As one of the most important sources of deficit in the Turkish trade balance.
The largest in Europe
The construction of the first lithium-ion battery factory in Turkey and the largest in Europe is nearing completion, which was established in Kayseri by the Turkish company ASPİLSAN, which was established with the donations of Turkish citizens in the Kayseri Industrial Zone in 1981 in order to meet the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) from Batteries used in military hardware and equipment.
Through the facility, which covers an area of 25,000 square meters, and will enter mass production in April 2022, the needs of both the defense industry and the private sector will be met in the facility, as large quantities of lithium-ion batteries will be produced in Europe, through the development of battery cells from various Types, sizes and techniques.
The factory, which will end foreign dependence in this regard, will provide entirely local production, especially with the start of Turkish mines and refining and refining plants to extract the necessary minerals and refining them to be ready to enter the manufacturing process such as nickel, cobalt and manganese, which will be used as local raw materials.
The investing company aims to complete the installation of the machine systems in January 2022 at the plant, whose approximate cost is scheduled to range between 900 million and one billion and 200 thousand Turkish liras. It is also expected that the total number of employees in the production facility will reach 300 in 2022, and nearly 400 by 2023. The factory's production capacity will reach about 60 batteries per minute.
Contribution to the national car
Aspelsan General Manager Ferhat Ozsoy stated that the first batteries it produces can make a battery for car companies that will use cylindrical batteries, but he mentioned that they will produce batteries of the type used by major major companies in the next stage.
The first battery to come off the production lines of the new facility will be cylindrical, with a capacity of 2.8 amp/hour and a voltage of 3.6 volts. Batteries that can operate at lower temperatures can be used in a variety of battery systems, due to their high C (rate of discharge).
Aselsan, which is preparing to contribute to the automotive industry that will be produced by the Turkish Automobile Group (TOGG), will be able to produce local batteries for the national TOGG car when the second phase of the investment is completed. Turkey is preparing to launch its first homemade electric car in the second half of 2022 to compete in the local and global markets.
Global battery market
In light of the increasing reliance on electric cars as one of the most important ways to reduce the risk of climate change, which is increasing, the markets for batteries and their components are witnessing an unprecedented demand at the global level. Despite the emergence of electric cars a relatively short time ago, the number of electric cars on global roads until the end of last year amounted to about 10 million cars, an increase of 3 million cars over 2019, an annual increase of 43%.

The market for lithium-ion batteries is not limited to electric cars, but extends to almost all areas of life, from electrical devices to drones in the defense industry, in addition to power plants from clean sources such as wind and solar energy, which are less expensive and harmful than fossil energy. Which will make it the focus of everyone's attention and desire in the short term.
While China dominates the market for lithium-ion battery industries, as the Chinese battery manufacturer CATL alone controls about 30% of the electric car battery market in the world, some European countries, including Turkey, are seeking independence in the battery industry and its technology, which is the backbone of electric cars And many other walks of life.
Ali Baba stops shipping to Palestine from 2022 What is the reason?
The Chinese digital commerce group, "Ali Baba", has stopped allowing Palestinian shoppers to buy on AliExpress.com. What is the reason?
A number of customers of the Chinese digital trading group, "Ali Baba", received a text message from the company, on Monday, stating that it will stop allowing Palestinian shoppers to purchase through AliExpress.com, starting from the beginning of 2022.
The Israeli newspaper, The Jerusalem Post , reported that the reason behind this decision is due to the Palestinian postal authorities' refusal to deal with parcels bearing the word "Israel" in their title, as many Palestinians do not know this and continue to put Israel instead of Palestine as the receiving country.
And last August, the official in charge of international relations at the Palestinian Post, Imad Tamizi, received an official letter from the international official for postal export of the "Ali Baba" group, confirming the activation of the option to ship to the State of Palestine, according to what was reported by the local Ma'an Agency.
However, the accounts of "Ali Baba" company concluded that the profits from the requests of Palestinian cities such as Jericho, Nablus, Ramallah, Hebron and Jenin do not equal the problems caused by this situation of postal confusion, and therefore decided to stop its operations in the West Bank.
