The Palestinian Prisoners' Club (non-governmental) said on Saturday that a prisoner on hunger strike in Israeli prisons for the 122nd consecutive day is close to a "sudden death".
And the club added in a press statement, "The prisoner Kayed Phosphos, who is on hunger strike in refusal to be administratively detained (without charge), is in danger of death at any moment, according to the doctors supervising his condition."
The club pointed out that the doctors indicated that signs appeared on the faeces indicating the presence of blood clots.
Five prisoners in Israeli prisons are continuing an open hunger strike, along with Phosphorous, Alaa Al-Araj (98 days), Hisham Ismail Abu Hawash (89 days), Ayyad Al-Harimi (52 days), and Louay Al-Ashkar (34 days). day).
Administrative detention is a decision to imprison by an Israeli military order, alleging the existence of a security threat, without filing an indictment, and it is renewed for 6 months, subject to extension.
Israel administratively detains about 500 Palestinians, out of 4,650 prisoners in its prisons, according to data from the Palestinian Prisoners Club.
