Kisan Mahapanchayat in Lucknow today, farmers can reach in large numbers from many states  The United Kisan Morcha has already announced that their agitation will continue despite the announcement of withdrawal of the law.  New Delhi : Farmers are going to hold a Mahapanchayat in Lucknow today. Despite the announcement of the withdrawal of agricultural laws, the farmers have decided not to cancel the programme. Law on MSP and sacking of Minister of State for Home will be the important issue in the Mahapanchayat. The United Kisan Morcha has already announced that their agitation will continue despite the announcement of withdrawal of the law. A large number of farmers are expected to reach from Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab for the Mahapanchayat. A large number of farmers left from Muzaffarnagar in UP to participate in the Kisan Mahapanchayat. Under the leadership of Gaurav Tikait, president of Bharatiya Kisan Union Yuva Morcha, this group of farmers traveled to Lucknow. This batch of farmers has left for Lucknow by boarding the Nauchandi Express train.  United Kisan Morcha wrote a letter to the Prime Minister, put forward six demands of the agitating farmers  The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), a group of farmers' organizations that spearheaded the agitation, on Sunday wrote an open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said the agitation would continue till the government resumed talks on his six demands. Showing no signs of easing, farmers' organizations announced that they were sticking to their scheduled protests, along with a mahapanchayat in Lucknow on Monday, to press for a law to guarantee the Minimum Support Price (MSP).  Farmers said agitation will continue till the return of agriculture law, MSP should be guaranteed  Meanwhile, government sources said on Sunday that the Bills related to repeal of three agriculture laws are likely to be taken up for consideration by the Union Cabinet on Wednesday so that they can be introduced in the upcoming winter session of Parliament.  Thousands of farmers are traveling from western UP to participate in the Mahapanchayat.
