The tractor march of farmers on November 29 may be postponed. The farmers' organizations of Punjab are talking about giving up their stubborn attitude on the march, seeing the softening of the government's stand. A decision on this will be taken in the meeting of the United Kisan Morcha (SKM) on the Singhu border on Saturday.
The meeting is important because the next strategy of the movement will be discussed in depth. In the meeting, all the big farmer leaders will decide whether the Parliament will march on the already proposed 29 November or will return home.
Even after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement of the return of agricultural laws and now the Union Cabinet's seal on it, the farmers' movement is over for the time being. On the completion of one year of the movement, on Friday, a crowd of farmers demonstrated strength at Singhu and Tikri borders. The announcement of the Parliament march with 500-500 tractors from Singhu and Tikri borders is already proposed on this day for the Parliament session starting on November 29.
Considering moral victory, big
sources are telling that the farmers' organization of Punjab is now in a mood to soften after the attitude of the government. Due to the long-running agitation, now the leaders of Punjab may insist on a comeback. Because he does not want to lose his moral victory after the announcement of withdrawal of law.
However, the decision on the softness seen by the farmer leaders for two days will be taken only in the meeting to be held today. Because after Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister of Haryana has also appealed to the farmers to return home.
On the other hand, farmer leaders say that till the process of repeal of the law is not completed in Parliament and no decision is taken on other demands, they will stand on the border. The biggest demand to continue the farmers' movement is now being raised by MSP. Farmers have included this in their main demands since the beginning of the movement. All these issues will be discussed in the meeting to be held on Saturday.
Rakesh Tikait reached Punjab
United Kisan Morcha meeting will start after noon. In this, all the big leaders including farmer leader Balbir Rajewal, Gurnam Chadhuni, Joginder Ugrahan will be present. At the same time, farmer leader Rakesh Tikait is already saying that there is no trust in this government. Therefore, while waiting till the repeal of the law in Parliament, the MSP guarantee law is the biggest demand. On the other hand, Tikait's arrival in the meeting is still in doubt as he has gone to Punjab to attend an event.
